Our son has a gambling problem. Many years ago he started to play poker in local casino and he soon got addicted to those stupid games. But he was a hard case since he did not limit himself to card games. He was betting horse racings and other sports events like football matches. He was young and it was the time when he got his first job. He was spending all his money on those stupid games and gambling and when we got worried he decided to move away from our house as he did not want to listen to us. We did not know how to help him and we left him with his problem alone. We thought that he will manage to deal with this problem alone. And must add that I thought that it was not such serious case. But after few months he was back home. He was completely ruined as he was spending all money earned on gambling. We greeted him at home and we were happy that he was with us once again. We even convinced him to start a therapy. We thought that he was doing ok but when we got our first phone bill it was clear for us that he was deceiving us all this time. When he was alone at home he was calling all those premium rate numbers with TV contests and shows. He wanted to win money and this was another branch of gambling he discovered. Since those were premium rate numbers we have to pay a gigantic bill now. And I really do not know what we should do now with our son. We do not want to lose him but the therapy gave no effects.
