Why not sell gold and move to the countryside

A couple of years ago, we made a very important decision. We decided to sell our flat in town, sell gold bullion bars that we had won a few years before and buy a house in the countryside. Our aim was to start living as close to nature as possible. We bought some land and started growing our own vegetables: carrots, potatoes, parsley, marrows and cabbage. We also started growing some rye and wheat. The house that we bought is too big for the whole family. We decided to open a kind of ranch for outside visitors. We could all ride a horse (I had been doing it for twenty years) so we decided to buy two horses. A couple of months later, I got my horse riding teaching license and opened a small school. Crowds of people came here to spend some time in the beautiful area and learn to ride a horse. I must say that our kids are much happier, too. They are no longer nervous and irritated by the chaos of a large town. The school is much smaller and student-friendly here, too. I am happy, too, because now I have a new job and I don"t even have to drive to work! I remember very well how exhausted I was every day after spending two hours in a traffic jam. I think it was a good idea to sell our own flat and sell gold bullion bars. Our life changed a lot but it is only for good.
