Nike Announce Release Date Of New Method Putter

Nike Golf Europe have announced that their brand-new putter — the highly-anticipated Method — is set to hit the shops. Find out when it will be available for you to buy, and see a world exclusive image of this new flat-stick, by reading this post. Will the Method prove to be a putter that Nike’s Tour players actually use? Or will it follow in the footsteps of previous ranges? There’s only one way to find out…

“This putter has made all of the difference in my game.” - 2009 US Open Champion Lucas Glover

Let’s face it, Nike have never had much success with putters. Most of their ranges have had little or no time spent on them, and have therefore had limited success — especially when compared to Nike’s famous irons, wedges and woods.
What’s more, the putters have been almost totally unrepresented on Tour.
But the word in the industry is that this, the Method putter, is set to be the biggest competition Scotty Cameron have ever faced in the premium putter market. And that means one thing — it is pure quality.
We don’t know much about this putter, and we haven’t yet got our hands on a sample, but what we can say is this is, on first glance, a much better attempt.

“I fell in love with this putter the first time I putted with it.” - 2009 Race To Dubai leader Paul Casey

It looks much better for one, and those grooves look really interesting.
But don’t take it from us, the Method putter has already proved a big hit on Tour, capturing two Major championships — the US and British Open, in the hands of Lucas Glover and Stewart Cink — and another three Tour wins in the hands of Paul Casey.
Here’s a selection of what the pros currently using the Method have to say:
2009 US Open winner, Lucas Glover, who has climbed to T45 in 2009 PGA Tour putting statistics since putting the Method in his bag, said: “This putter has made all of the difference in my game.
“I attribute a lot of the success I had at Bethpage to my putting and I give a lot of credit to Nike for coming out with such a great product.”
Current Race To Dubai leader, Paul Casey, who put the putter in his bag last Autumn and has won three 2009 tournaments, said: “I fell in love with this putter the first time I putted with it.
“You can really feel the difference in how the ball comes off of the face and you can see the difference in how it rolls. It’s really helped me with my confidence on the greens.”
Sounds exciting, eh?
So now, the moment you have been waiting for — how much is it? And when can you get hold of it?
