We’ve teamed up with the guys at PencilPal to offer 25 readers their very own, personalised pencil accessory. Read on to find out how to get your hands on one.
What is it?
The PencilPal, in a nutshell, is a clever contraption which ensures your pencil is with you at all times. It is a disc-like device which contains a 120cm reel of string and a rubber end which holds your pencil. It works like a tape-measure — simply pull out the desired amount of string and scribble away. When you’re done, the cord retracts and places the pencil back in its original position.
All you have to do is clip it to your bag, or belt loop, and you’ll always be able to fill in your scorecard.

How can I enter?
If you want to get your hands on a free PencilPal (who wouldn’t?!) simply find the answer to the following, multiple-choice question.

Once you have found the answer, email it to pencilpal@whitleygolf.co.uk along with your required colour, your name and your image to be used as the logo. If you want to see the list of available colours and any other information about the PencilPal, visit their website.
When can I enter and when does entry close?
You can enter this superb competition right now — simply answer the aforementioned question and send it to us. We’ll keep your details on our database (but won’t share them with anyone else, we promise) and notify all the winners as soon as they are chosen.
Entry closes on July 31st 2009. We will pick the winners on this date and notify them both via email and by posting their names on our website on August 1st 2009, so get your entries in as soon as possible.
When will I know who has won?
As previously mentioned, we will pick the winners on July 31st 2009 and notify them of their victory the day after on August 1st 2009. We’ll get in touch with the winners via email and ask them to claim their prize. They will have seven days to do so before we re-draw.
