What we say:
Balls that boast the benefits of both distance and spin can usually be misleading — it is a real rarity for any product currently on the market to be able to offer both factors in decent amounts.
But Nike seem to have delivered with the One Vapor.

It is aimed at the ’skilled’ player with an average swing speed (loosely translated to the mid-handicapper) and is thus fairly forgiving as well as being long and soft.
This is all thanks to the ‘Power Transfer Layer’ which maximises energy from even slow swings and ensures that your ball speed increases and ultimately your distance. The low compression helps, too, along with a seamless cover which helps improve spin control with iron and wedge shots.

We’re by no means saying going to ever pose a threat to a premium ball, such as Titleist’s Pro V1 or Nike’s One Tour, but, if you play to or around a 12 handicap, you may have found your perfect partner.
What’s more, they are only £30 per dozen — which works out at £2.50 per ball. This will surely challenge Srixon’s AD333 for the title of best mid-range ball.
