If you’re like us, you’ve tried everything to keep the cool away — you’ve rubbed your paws together to bring heat via friction, you’ve worn specially-designed golf mittens, you have placed your hands in your pockets or under your arms, and you’ve even used your warm breath — but none of it works (for more than a few seconds, anyway).
But MyCoal have come to the rescue with their innovative WarmPacks.

In a nutshell, the WarmPacks are palm-sized packets which closely resemble a large tea bag. But instead of hand-picked tea leaves, they contain a scientific mix of iron, salts and chemicals which, when combined, omit considerable heat.
They are cool when packed but come to life with a simple squeeze (thanks to oxygen, which acts as a catalyst) and, within a few minutes, can reach temperatures in excess of 70 celsius. This convenient heat sticks around for seven hours, too, which means that you’ll be comfortable and on top of your game for the duration of the round.

We were a little sceptical when we received the WarmPacks — there are plenty of other similar products on the market which do the same job — but as soon as we tested them, we realised they’re in a different league. They are amazingly portable, easy to use, heat up almost instantly, and last for hours. The only fault we could find is that they aren’t re-usable, but they are really cheap (see your local pro shop for an exact figure) and do exactly what they say on the tin, well, packet. When it’s cold, there aren’t many better ways of warming up.
